„Believe and don’t ask questions.” It’s supposed to sound pious. It’s actually the opposite of faith. That’s the line between faith and naivety.
In this episode of Veil & Broc, we take the word „faith” apart from the thing it keeps getting confused with — naivety. We look at a story most people know by name but not by substance: Thomas, the one who wanted to touch the wounds before he’d believe. He wasn’t scolded for asking. He was invited to check.
And then the harder question: if you gave up on faith completely, what would be left to make sense of the bad days? Broc asks it at the start. Veil doesn’t answer it until the end.
