Why do we repeat mistakes?
The lesson of freedom is one we all know — and which we almost deliberately choose not to apply. From my experience and that of those around me, no matter how hopeless life may seem at times and no matter how deep the wandering, we must always remember that man…
- Is the most wonderful and complex creature created, endowed not only with body and mind,
- But with freedom, conscience, reason, will, the ability to love, to „regret” and to „reinvent” itself, to reposition itself inwardly and
- To take responsibility for one's own choices, having within itself the resources for to grow from matrix to a more complete form of fulfillment.
The lesson of freedom begins with free will
Why freedom without assumption does not lead to life
Man was created free, not programmed.
Because love without freedom is not love.
This is the truth that many avoid, not because it is hard to understand, but because it is hard to bear:
- God does not intervene in my decision.
Does not intervene in your decision.
Does not intervene nor in the decision of the one who does evil.
Not because he approves.
But because, if he were to intervene, freedom would cease to exist.
Here begins responsibility.
Not earlier.
Not later.
Why do we repeat mistakes? The tree: the lesson humanity doesn't want to learn
„Do not eat from the tree.”
Man ate.
Tempted – yes.
Forced – no.
The tree is not about a fruit.
It's about limit.
God warns.
Man decides.
Consequences follow.
Not as arbitrary punishment,
but as law of reality.
This is the lesson humanity doesn't want to learn: that freedom without assumption does not lead to life, but to disorder.
When suffering is not guilt — but opportunity
There are sufferings that are not the result of a personal decision.
Errors occur:
- diseases, disabilities, and degradations that do not come only from direct guilt.
This type of suffering becomes a major obstacle between man and God.
They are caused by the weakening and wear of the human race,
not just on a physical level,
but also on a spiritual level.
Here one of the greatest confusions is clarified:
natural limits, errors and fragility…
They are not always guilt and not punishment. They are disguised opportunities.
The secret is management.
Why we cannot correct ourselves: the trap of subjectivity
After we understand freedom, a deeper problem appears:
alone, man does not correct himself completely.
He checks himself.
He validates himself.
He absolves himself.
Each person lives in their own lens, and the lens comes to be called „truth”.
Here a dangerous illusion appears:
„I can handle it alone.”
No matter how sincere he may be, man is not a sufficient reference point for himself.
Not because he is bad,
but because he is subjective.
Why the Church exists: the order that keeps chaos in check
Why do we repeat mistakes?
The Church does not exist for those without error.
It exists for people who are partial.
Because each person comes with:
– their wounds
– their interpretations
– their passions
– their justifications
Left unchecked, all these things transform into moral chaos.
The Church gathers these different lenses into a common order
and keeps them in check.
Because the multitude of people,
each with their wounds, fears, desires, and justifications,
does not form a single will,
but a fragmented force,
similar to a dragon with many heads
that pull in different directions at the same time.
Not because man is a dragon,
but because passions are.
Why do we repeat mistakes?
When faith is wounded by those who represent it
Why disappointment with people is not disappointment with God
Some people move away not out of disbelief,
but out of disappointment.
Because one of the obstacles is not God,

Nu pentru că slujitorii ar vrea să alunge lumea,
ci pentru că și ei sunt oameni,

Greșeala nu este că slujitorii sunt imperfecți.
Greșeala este când sunt confundați cu Dumnezeu.
Lecția libertății: între idealizare și cinism există maturitatea
Maturitatea nu spune:
– „toți slujitorii sunt corupți”
nici:
– „toți sunt sfinți”
👉 „Dumnezeu lucrează prin oameni aflați în drum, nu la capăt.”
De ce refuzi lumina când fereastra e murdară
Dar respingerea lui Dumnezeu din cauza lor
is ca și cum ai refuza lumina
pentru că fereastra e murdară.Nu fereastra e soarele.
Și nici slujitorul nu este Dumnezeu.
Exemplul rău al credincioșilor: când viața contrazice credința
Aici mustrarea nu vine din afară,
ci din interiorul tradiției.
Cum lecția libertății se pierde când faptele contrazic vorbele
Problema apare când procesul personal devine normă pentru toți.
Sfântul Ioan Gură de Aur spune limpede:
„Nu ar mai fi nevoie de cuvinte,
dacă viața noastră ar străluci.
Nu ar mai fi nevoie de predici,
dacă am arăta prin fapte.
Dacă am fi cu adevărat creștini,
păgânii s-ar converti fără să le spunem nimic.”
Nu credința este problema.
Ci faptele care ne contrazic vorbele.
Nu ca verdict rostit asupra noastră,
ci ca responsabilitate care ne privește pe fiecare, în fiecare zi.
De ce repetăm greșelile? Absența tăcută: libertatea alegerii la cei fără credință
Există însă și un caz aparte, care nu ține de respingere sau revoltă,
ci de absență.
Cei care nu au avut deloc sau aproape deloc contact viu cu viața religioasă –
proveniți din familii ateiste
sau din contexte de tip „cred, dar nu practic” –
sunt chemați la atenție și discernământ,
pentru că Dumnezeu lucrează și în viața lor,
chiar dacă nu este recunoscut sau numit ca atare.
Lecția libertății refuzată cu bună-știință: ultima alegere
După rană.
După neștiință.
După rătăcire.
După exemplul prost.
Există un ultim prag — când omul alege voit tabăra adversă
Momentul în care omul înțelege,
dar alege să nu se schimbe.
Pentru că nu știe suficient cât o să-l coste.
Sau alege voit tabăra adversă.
Este o alegere.
Și Dumnezeu o respectă.
Aceasta este, în esență, lecția pe care omenirea nu vrea să o învețe: libertatea fără asumare rupe, nu vindecă.
